Rocket Pitch Competition - Event Information

Presentation Guidelines:

The Rose-Hulman Campus Business 2007 Rocket Pitch Competition is modeled after the Babson College Rocket Pitch Competition. Contestants are given three minutes to present their business plan for a “campus business.” A campus business is any for-profit venture that could succeed in a college environment (social, retail, product, etc). The limitation to campus businesses serves to narrow the scope of the competition, ease judging. Participants are encouraged to be creative with the subject matter. Scoring will be based upon novelty, feasibility, and commercial viability.

Prizes:

• 1st place - $2000
• 2nd place - $1000
• 3rd place - $500
• I-Pod raffled to all contestants

Important Rules:

• Only Rose-Hulman students may enter
• Only one student may give the presentation
• Teams may have 1-3 members. Prizes will be split evenly between team members.
