How much does development and marketing cost with Engenius Solutions?

Nothing. Well, almost nothing. We ask for the inventor's input along the entire design and marketing process, so there is a small amount of time commitment involved. In exchange for our services, we ask for a small, pre-determined portion of revenues generated from the commercialization of a product. Since Engenius Solutions is a non-profit extension of an educational institution, we only ask for enough to recoup our investment and expand to support more inventors.

I am a student inventor. Will Engenius Solutions still work with me?

Definitely. Engenius Solutions focuses on enlightening students to the world of entrepreneurship. We want to support student development of their own ideas, as well as the ideas of others. For more information about student services, check out our student central section.

I am not from the Rose-Hulman community. Can I still submit a project application?

Sure. One of our main goals is to help increase the value of undergraduate engineering. If developing an idea will improve the education of our engineering students and the idea meets our other criteria, we'll be happy to accept it.

What kind of ideas is Engenius Solutions seeking?

The ideas that Engenius Solutions prefers are somewhat specific. You can find our criteria in the Ideal Project Profile section. I'm worried about disclosing my idea. What precautions does Engenius Solutions take to keep my idea secure? The Engenius Solutions staff works very hard to ensure submitted ideas are protected. All student workers, including the student managers, and anyone else involved in developing your idea must first sign confidentiality agreements before they are given any information about an existing or potential project. We understand the value of the ideas that are submitted to us and take all necessary steps to keep them protected.
